Dr. Deborah Martin is a medical physician certified by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario, who brings with her more than 25 years of diversified experience in Emergency Care, Medical Aesthetics and Anti-aging Medicine.
Dr. Martin graduated from the School of Medicine at Queen's University and then went on to specialize in Sclerotherapy by studying with physicians globally. Dr. Martin's Vein Clinic was first opened in 1995.
As time went on, her "vein" clients requested that she look into more and more areas, so she gradually branched off into Botox, Fillers, Lasers, Skin Care, Business, Bioidentical Hormones and more.
Although not initially drawn to Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Martin came to empathize with the physical and emotional effects that the passage of time has on all of us. Most of her patients were women in their thirties or forties and fifties, like herself, who had raised their families and were entering a new phase.
Dr. Martin has always embraced youth, as is demonstrated by her active lifestyle of skiing, hiking, travel, and even skydiving.
Medically, she knew that Aesthetics on its own was not just an issue of physical health. As a woman she knew that how you look certainly can, in a very strong way, affect how you feel about yourself. She loves to "focus on the good" in everyone by finding everyone’s best traits and bringing them forward, rather than focusing on faults.
Physicians and nurses from all over the world travel to Dr. Martin's clinic in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, in order to learn her techniques in Sclerotherapy, Botox and Fillers, Laser Treatments and Business Acumen. All of her courses are “hands on” with an emphasis on practical, comprehensive and FUN adult education.
Dr. Martin currently is the CEO of Martin’s Rejuvenation Centre, CEO of Martin’s Training Centre and president of CSAMM – the Canadian Society for Aging and Metabolic Medicine. She retired from her 25-year career in Emergency Medicine in 2013.
